Every booking, payment and change is copied off the server within about a second. However many bookings you take, nothing is lost, and we can put your site back to any moment.

Backed up as it happens

  • We can put your site back to any moment, not just last night. Even to the minute before a mistake
  • The backup machine also keeps its own hourly snapshots for 30 days, which the main server can’t reach or delete
  • A full backup every night, plus weekly and monthly copies, each one checked to make sure it opens and is complete
  • Every night we test it: each site is restored from the backup and compared with the live system

Locked down.

  • Every page is encrypted, and passwords are stored scrambled, never as plain text
  • Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch Nimbo Stay
  • Each business has its own separate database, so nobody else’s data can ever mix with yours
  • Every member of staff has their own login and only sees what you allow
  • New staff set their own password from an emailed invite, and you can be emailed each time they log in
  • Repeated wrong passwords are blocked, and logins time out after eight hours
  • If we ever open your site to help you, it’s recorded in an access log

Your guests’ privacy.

  • A privacy notice for your guests, built from your own details
  • Download everything you hold about a guest, or remove their details, when they ask
  • Guests who haven’t stayed for years have their details removed automatically
